Sms Of Salvation is an app to easily send your exact position via SMS or e-mail. The recipient will receive your GPS coordinates in the message, together with altitude, and the Map link representing your position.

You can use SOS every day, for example to let a friend join you, or in case of emergency, for example to let the breakdown truck find you in case of car breakdown, or to call for help if you are lost and don’t find anyone to ask for information. You can use SOS with SMS even when you cannot connect to the Internet! (Use of SMS is limited to IOS version 4.x)

The SOS interface is easy to use and designed to minimize the time to send your help request. In case of real emergency, with SOS you can be found as soon as you can!

SOS allows you to use your contact addressbook to send messages for help to one or more contacts at the same time.
SOS shows the position in geographic numeric coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude) with the accuracy of the measurement. If the GPRS/UMTS link is active, SOS displays a map centered in your current position. You can show the map in three modes: map (roads), satellite (photos) or hybrid (both).
The button “Follow me” scrolls the map automatically when you move.
